Job Overview

The Tax & Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing all facets of tax compliance, planning, and accounting within our organization. This pivotal role is essential for ensuring precise financial reporting, adhering to tax laws and regulations, and executing strategies to minimize tax liabilities while maximizing financial efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct all phases of tax planning, preparation, review, compliance, and research.
  • Utilize tax software including Thomson Reuters UltraTax CS, Microsoft Office, and Intuit QuickBooks (preferred).
  • Remain informed on current tax laws and developments.
  • Leverage expertise in tax issues, regulatory requirements, and industry-specific concerns to advise clients effectively.
  • Prepare a variety of tax returns, including Individual, Fiduciary, Corporate, Partnership, and Multistate.
  • Collaborate on complex accounting projects with other team members.
  • Maintain exceptional attention to detail and manage client relationships proficiently.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting (Required)
  • CPA certification (Required)
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a CPA firm (Required)
  • Experience in real estate (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with UltraTax CS, Checkpoint, Microsoft Office Suite, and Intuit products (Preferred)
