The Staffing Assistant is responsible for appropriate daily staffing; ensuring sufficient physician support for efficient workflow and patient satisfaction in collaboration with nursing leadership. The staffing assistant acts as a resource person for staffing needs. The staffing assistant demonstrates flexibility and the ability to problem solve.

Primary Responsibilities
- Collects data from nursing leaders, providers and staff
- Reports the information in a retrievable understandable and readable format
- Is proficient in ability to multi-task, maintains staffing schedules and demonstrates ability to work in Excel
- Demonstrates flexibility and works independently
- Communicates openly with members of the healthcare team regarding daily staffing assignments
- Uses effective professional communication skills and tools to acquire and disseminate relevant information

- Solid computer skills

- Previous experience with employee scheduling or staffing
- Experience with Excel

The hourly range for this role is $16.88 to $33.22 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
