Position Overview: We are seeking a Bar Manager for, a our high-volume bars / nightclubs in Westport. The ideal candidate will po

Key Responsibilities:
• Operations Management:
• Oversee the daily operations of the bar, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and organization.
• Develop and implement efficient work schedules for bar staff to ensure optimal coverage and service quality.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Staff Management:

• Recruit, train, and supervise bar staff, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff.
• Address and resolve any staff-related issues or conflicts promptly and professionally.
• Customer Service:
• Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered consistently, creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all patrons.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and a focus on positive resolution.
• Foster a culture of inclusivity and respect, ensuring all guests feel valued and welcomed.

Compensation:

• Salary: $80,000-$90,000/year

Experience Required:

• 3+ years of bar/restaurant/hospitality experience
• Proficient high-volume bartender
• Management experience (preferred)
• Security experience in nightlife

Schedule:
• Full-time position
• 40-hour work week
• 5 days on, 2 days off
• Accommodation for regular requests off

Qualifications:

• High school or equivalent (Required)
• Proven experience as a bartender.
• Strong understanding of bar operations.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for creating an inclusive and welcoming environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations within the hospitality industry.
