Job Overview

Join VANTAGE Aging as a Digital Navigator and play a pivotal role in addressing the Digital Divide for older Ohioans. Our innovative program focuses on empowering older adults to enhance their access, skills, and competencies within the digital economy. As a Digital Navigator, you will deliver tailored support to age and income-eligible community members, guiding them in securing affordable home internet services, internet-capable devices, and foundational digital skills coaching.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate and respond to telephone communications with clients seeking Digital Navigator assistance.
  • Engage clients in discussions about their current home internet access and the need for digital skills development.
  • Evaluate clients’ technological access, current digital proficiency, and internet connectivity needs.
  • Collaborate with clients to establish achievable goals for Digital Navigator services and create actionable plans.
  • Monitor client progress and manage requests for assistance, maintaining accurate and timely records.
  • Inform clients about qualifying options for free or affordable home internet services and assist with applications.
  • Guide clients in acquiring affordable devices, offering resources and support as needed.
  • Provide coaching to clients on effectively utilizing their home internet services to meet their objectives, using various communication methods.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications
