Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with accounting, finance, and operations teams to facilitate the monthly close process and ensure financial accuracy.
  • Prepare and post general journal entries while meticulously maintaining financial records.
  • Conduct trend analysis and generate accrual-based financial statements.
  • Address accounting and financial inquiries through in-depth research and data interpretation.
  • Develop and implement enhanced accounting procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including bank accounts, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Support operational teams in achieving the company’s objectives.
  • Engage in special projects and perform ad hoc financial analysis as required.

Required Skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and various financial tools.
  • Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and management.
  • Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and accuracy in work.
  • A collegial mindset capable of thriving in a high-performance atmosphere.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (mandatory).
  • Prior experience in healthcare or public accounting is preferred but not essential.
