Position Overview

As a Graphic Designer, you will use your artistic and technical expertise to design and produce high-quality visual graphics for a variety of signage projects. This dual-role position includes working in both the computer room to create and prepare designs and the production room to oversee physical assembly. If you are detail-oriented, innovative, and thrive on crafting visually compelling products, this role is for you.

Production Responsibilities

Assemble signs using vinyl, printed media, and various substrates.
Prepare substrates by cutting, laminating, painting, and cleaning them for application.
Operate and maintain laminators, printers, and other production equipment.
Perform quality assurance checks before and after production, ensuring accurate and error-free output.
Assist with installation tasks as needed.
Minimize material waste and report inventory levels to management.
Collaborate with the sales and production teams to meet deadlines and exceed customer expectations.

Requirements

Experience: 2+ years in graphic design or a related field; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, design software, and large-format printers.
Skills: Strong eye for design, layout, and typography; experience with vinyl cutting, weeding, and application techniques.
Physical Ability: Ability to sit for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot design and production challenges creatively and efficiently.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating with team members and interacting with clients.
